Programming SIG

In line with what we discussed at our meeting last week, I'm calling a meeting for next Wednesday 9/28 at 7pm, at LVL1. LAMP developers, PHP, Python and Ruby programmers as well as programmers in general are all welcome. The only planned program is merely to sit around and "talk shop", hopefully about actual programming practice. Perhaps we can share what each of us has worked on and maybe even share some code. In the process we'll decide whether there is a need for ongoing meetings and whether we should narrow or broaden our focus.

This is just one small step toward the idea we've discussed of encouraging multiple "special interest groups" meetings. If you have an idea for a different SIG, feel free to use this list to suggest and promote it. Thanks, John
