Join us outdoors for a colorful, creative painting experience using a unique sponge technique that encourages flow, spontaneity, and vibrant texture.

COST! $15.00 per person for set up, pre planning, and instructing fee.

11:00 a.m. – approx. 1.5 hours
📍 Location: Picnic Area 4, Park behind the Community Centre
➡ As you enter the community centre parking lot, veer slightly right and follow the ramp down to the park parking area.

🧑‍🎨 What to Expect:
This workshop focuses on sponge painting — a free-form, hands-on approach using cut sponges instead of traditional brushes. It invites exploration through color blending, dotting, dabbing, and layering, creating soft gradients and surprising textures that are joyful and expressive. All skill levels welcome!

👕 What to Bring:

Clothes suitable for painting

Your own art materials (affordable at Dollarama)

🖌️ Supply List:

White canvas board

Paints: Red, Purple, White, Yellow, Blue — or any vibrant colors

2 dish sponges (cut into 4 pieces each)

Brushes

Table cover

Paint plates

Water cups

vibrant art in the park, is about meeting out in the open, surrounded by nature and beautiful weather. we will meet at picnic area 4 at 11:00 a.m and I will be instructing the workshop for q.5 hours.

please wear clothing that us suitable for painting, and your own supplies with you. you can purchase your supplies from dollarama, and a list will be provided below.

supply list:

Canvas: white canvas board

paint: red, purple, white, yellow, blue paint. and / or any other bright colors that you'd like to bring.

sponges: 2 dish sponges cut into 4 pieces.

I will be bringing..

brushes, table sheet, plates, and cups for water to clean our brushes.
