Hello, all you paint-enthusiasts :)
It's a pleasure to have you visit our Art Tea community - a space for you to practice painting, painting mindfully and most importantly, have fun! The events are tailored to beginners, whom in our ethos, are free to discover, play, find comfort and the contrary, of expressing emotions, thoughts and creativity within the three-hours we give you! Find what works with you and also learn a little bit about your favourite artists, all at once ;)
Art Tea provides art materials (used in public settings) AND a morning cuppa'!
Here's what usually happens:
10:15 Meet at the location - usually Level 5, Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre
10:30 Paint starts moving
10:45 Coffee/Tea served
- Breaks in between, any time you need it -
13:00 Clean up, Pack up
13:15 Reflect on our morning 'workout'
13:30 Paintings on to go!
Our prices, and what's involved:
3 hours a session for £15. This includes art materials to be used e.g. watercolours, canvas, pencils, pens, glue, inks, and creative tricks, leaving no stone unturned ;) We also give you a portfolio sleeve*, at your first Art Tea event! AND let's not forget that cup of tea or coffee, served at your comfort :)
Our Art Tea facilitator, Yen, has a with a keen interest in art psychotherapy and mindfulness, and currently work in a school. She will not be your teacher, but your painting partner, and by this we mean supporter and cheer, to reintroduce art into your life in a safe and mindful platform!
