ABOUT LOVE BURN: The year 2024 marked the 10th installment of Love Burn in Miami.
VOLUNTEER: Love Burn is a Volunteer-run event.
Everyone is asked to volunteer at least 4 hours before, during or after the event. This serves many purposes including:
❤️ Volunteering gives the community ownership of the success and growth of the event
🧡 Volunteering helps bond people together in good times and bad
💛 Volunteering allows people to expand their skill sets and teach others
💚 Volunteering keeps operations costs down so the event is accessible to more creators
💙 Volunteering helps artists, campers, builders, doers create bigger projects with love
💜 Volunteering helps everyone feel good knowing that together we created this event
ART: At The Love Burn, we pride ourselves on supporting our artists and are honored to have been able to provide more than 210 art grants in 2024 alone. The scale and grandeur of their productions were unmatched.
Several large-scale art pieces were featured in 2024, including:
El Pulpo Magnfico art car; Fire on the Midway, including fire-fueled games like Flaming Foosball; Harvey the Disco Kitty and Xuza Art Cars; and much more. Several pieces were emotionally evocative, including Anam Kara Temple, Electric Dandelions, Draco, Metaheart, and Elysium, which were immersive, experiential, sonic art installations.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Our 275 theme camps also bring it bigger and better than ever before in 2024. Sky Bar erects their awe-inspiring rig offering breath-taking views of the event and the Miami skyline. Incendia’s mix of pyrotechnics and music made it a popular spot for late night revelry. And sound camps like Deep Florida and Big Puffy Yellow bring impressive sound systems and booty shaking beats that kept their dance floors packed for hours on end.
