May 22nd marks a significant day in Bitcoin history known as Bitcoin Pizza Day.
On this day in 2010, the first real-world transaction using Bitcoin took place when a Florida programmer, Laszlo Hanyecz, paid 10,000 Bitcoins for two delivery pizzas. This epic transaction giving this day its title and confirming Bitcoin as a means of exchange for goods.
