The Winter Solstice December 21st marks the longest and darkest night of the year and the shortest day. Though it may be said that dark "triumphs" over the light, this night is better understood as a turning point.
The energy of winter is that of going within. It's actually a fruitful darkness and silence out of which our soul's yearnings and new inspirations can eventually emerge. And the evening of the Solstice is the perfect time to share our new inspirations!
After some basic breathing exercises to warm up, and a short period to check in with our inner silence, we'll introduce ourselves, and get down to the fun part of the evening, writing down our "let-go's" and intentions for the new year. We'll supply the pencils and paper, and our fireplace will be ready to accept your offerings and prayers.
This is an indoor event, wear comfortable (and warm!) clothes, bring a pillow if you wish... RSVP with a "yes" for our location's address :-)
This is a FREE event, and donations are always welcome :-)
