What we’re about
Loving More Chapter Santa Fe is open to all who want a safe space to discuss all types of relationship issues in a respectful, confidential, welcoming environment. We hold a monthly discussion group on the second Sunday of each month, as well as other social events. Join us in nurturing greater depth and intimacy in relationships, as well as learning about the diversity of relationship and gender options that exist in our society: gay/bi/straight, single/partnered, monogamous/polyamorous, and other honest, open, loving relationship choices.
Loving relationships and healthy families can come in many beautiful and valid forms. Who people choose to love is an individual and personal choice. Through education about diverse relationship styles, we hope to nurture the freedom to be open and honest about our own choices, without fear of prejudice. We support the belief that there is not just one “right” way to express love, not just one "right" gender to love or to be, not just one "right" form of family, and that it is both possible and normal to love more than one person at the same time - honestly, openly, with commitment, romance, and ongoing intimacy.
We are a local chapter of Loving More (http://www.lovemore.com/), a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting discrimination and providing education about polyamory. We are also a local chapter of the national organization Unitarian Universalists for Polyamory Awareness (http://www.uupa.org), and serve as a resource for poly folks and others in non-traditional relationships in the Santa Fe area and throughout New Mexico.
