I am new in town and I was in a photography group in Knoxville and I really liked how the events went, so I’m hoping to meet a lot of great new friends and have fun doing photography here in the lowcountry.
Most outings will be on foot, but we can also use bikes and kayaks! I ALWAYS take pictures when I kayak and I would love to find others who enjoy that.
This group is open to novices and professionals, you can use your phone, don’t have to have a camera. I want to photograph all of downtown Savannah (yeah that will take a while), other interesting or historical places, I mainly like to do landscapes, buildings and wildlife. While we are out you can focus on whatever you want, we don’t have to stay together the whole time, but I don’t want anyone solo. We won’t be limited to Savannah, I would like to explore parts of SC also.

This is a private group, your first name and a recognizable photo are required to join. If there is a last minute change to a meetup I will comment on the event page, and I may also message you on the app. However it seems that many people have messages turned off and never see them. I hope many of you use the app and will look at it the day of the event. PLEASE always remember to update your RSVP if something comes up and you cannot attend. After 2 no-shows a member will be removed.
I would like to have approx 8 members before I schedule an event. Most of our locations will be outdoors, that’s a little harder in the summer humidity, so I am always open to suggestions. Events will have to be on Saturdays for now because I work on Sundays. But I’m also off Mondays & Fridays.
