Embodiment at Work: Practice & Exploration

From Embodiment at Work: Practices for Teams & Facilitation

How can we bring presence, awareness, and the body into work? Join for an interactive session where we’ll try simple practices, share experiences, and explore together what works in teams and workshops. Feel free to bring your own ideas, resources, exercises, or questions — we’ll collect them and let the group shape what comes next. A small donation for the rental of the space is welcome. If you have any questions upfront, feel free to reach out.

It’s also a different & cool way of meeting new people by getting a bit out of your comfort zone and skipping the small talk! Join us for **games**, **talks**, and **connections** with **friends you haven’t met yet**. Join if you get annoyed after being asked what you do, where you are from, and how long you've been in Berlin every single time you meet someone. If you feel that there are better questions in life, this is the place for you. 🙌 **📓 HOW DOES IT WORK?** We start with a short & sweet intro talk followed by a few light-hearted group games to warm up. After that, we split you up into small groups and start with the conversation rounds (with 3-4 people). We'll have awesome question cards that will guide the flow of the conversation. You’ll never have to speak in public if you don’t want to. **🕹 HOW TO JOIN?** **[Take 1 minute to sign up 👈](https://luma.com/ftst2berlin)** 🔗 On your phone and can't click? Click the link in the **comments** :) Our events are **limited to 30 handpicked guests** to ensure a cozy atmosphere. Get to the heart of the matter, dive straight into what really counts!” - Matthias 🗣 “F\*ck the Small Talk changes the narrative from "Where are you from?" to "When was the last time you laughed uncontrollably?" and I think that's beautiful.” - Monika 🗣 “I loved F\*ck the Small Talk, I was a little bit nervous at first but they are pros at making you feel comfortable with the rest of the group, the activities are really fun and I enjoyed every second (consider that the one who's saying this is very, very shy). Give it a try!” - Brenda 🗣 "It’s a wonderful experience, it’s like being a kid again, when you were at the park, playing with other kids, and just decided you were going to be best friends for the next hours. Maybe you’ll never see those kids again. But that hour was amazing because you both opened up and trusted each other." - Sara [Check out our 130+ Google reviews here](https://www.google.com/maps/place/EPIC+LLAMA/@29.4255256,-41.3746386,3z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0xf758abc88e22289c!8m2!3d29.4255256!4d-41.3746386?sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiAydX55IP9AhWWQjABHejpCCkQ_BJ6BAhWEAg&coh=164777&entry=tt&shorturl=1)[ ](https://goo.gl/maps/TpZy77bfPFkGoikn7)💛 *(these are real humans, we promise!)* **🤓 FAQ** **• What's the age range?** Most people who come to our events are between 24 and 40 years old. Late arrivals will disrupt the floooooooow. **• I signed up but never got an invite. Why?** We get a high volume of sign-ups yet we can only invite around 30 people. Please try again next time if do not receive an invite - no hard feelings 💛 **• Why do you charge?** We value our time and put a lot of love, planning, and effort into creating & designing these experiences. ♥️ This is our project/business and what we give to the world and we think everything should be a fair exchange! 🎈 However, money should never be the reason for people not to attend. Productive Sunday Morning - Co-Working Session (Deep Work, all work welcome)

Productive Sunday Morning - Co-Working Session (Deep Work, all work welcome)

Sun, Feb 22, 10:00 AM
From Let's Get Stuff Done Berlin
4.8

Hey everyone! I’m organising a co-working + socialising session for all of us who like to work on something (e.g. our own project, freelance or remote work) but don't feel like sitting alone at home. 🙂 To ensure that we have both **socialising** AND **working**, we will be using the so called “Pomodoro” technique: **50min of deep work** (silent), followed by **10min of break** to socialise. Then repeat! If you get into flow, you're also welcome to skip the breaks. It’s an effective way to stay focused - you can read more about it [here](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomodoro_Technique). Anyone from any background is welcome, whatever project you are working on or whatever is your personal background. I (the host) speak English and German, so either is fine :-) ——————————————————- AGENDA: * **15min Intro** * Get to know everyone, talk about what you will work on today * **Pomodoro Session** (3x) - *Each Pomodoro session consists* *of...* * ...**50min** of uninterrupted “deep work” (no talking, no interruptions, no phones) * ...**10min** of break: share your progress with others, talk about what you are stuck on etc. * Repeat * Conclude and celebrate your progress Share your progress, socialise and get to know others 😊 ———— We'll be at the Social Hub Berlin (they have a food menu in case you get hungry). The structured part will end at 2:30pm, but you're welcome to stay longer, go for lunch together, or leave earlier. See you there 🩵 **\*\*We'll reserve the long table. Please update your RSVP in advance if you can't attend!\*\***
