Once a month, we slow things down. No courts. No rushing. Just good food, easy conversation, and a social that actually feels… social. This is the **Second Serve Supper Club** — a more relaxed, sit-down version of the group. *** ### 📍 Venue (Croydon / easy access) We rotate between: * Cosy restaurants with bookable tables * Private/semi-private dining spaces * Quiet venues where we can actually hear each other (Final location shared after approval) *** ### 🕒 Format (Monthly Saturday) * **6:30 – 7:15pm** → Arrivals + dinner orders * **7:15 – 8:15pm** → Dinner & natural conversation * **8:15 – 9:45pm** → Games + guided social * Wrap up on time — no dragging the night out *** ### 🎲 The Twist (What makes this different) This isn’t just “dinner and hope for the best.” We structure it lightly so it never gets awkward: * Small tables (4–6 people max) * Subtle **table rotations** (optional, not forced) * Simple games that spark conversation, not competition *** ### 💬 Conversation Style No cringe icebreakers. Queer Boardgames + Videogames @ Four Quarters (Month of Mario Celebration)

**WHO IS READY FOR GAMES**? (now with added videogames) **What is the vibe?** This is a social with games.... The games are all easy to play (nothing too serious) so come along even if you just want to socialise In general. This is open to everyone under the LGBTQIA+ Umbrella and allies. This is a fusion of Boardgames, Videogames and arcade machines. **Boardgames -** We have a selection of fun and engaging baordgames/cardgames which you are welcome to use. Please bring your own too if you wish. **Videogames -** We have a selection of consoles which we bring to the venue. These are all preloaded with all your favourite multiplayer games. All the classics are there such as Mario Kart, Tekken and Smash Bros. We tend to have different themes and activities every month so we rotate the games a lot. **How to attend** The event starts from 6:30pm where there will be a table with nametags which are self service. A host will be present but I regularly setup and run the event on my own so just approach me with any problems or if you need new and I can introduce you to people. **How the event works ** Everyone finds a spot, finds a game and just gets on with it. There are instructions 😀. Wednesday Night Gaming!

Come and play board games! We play all types of games on a Wednesday night, ranging from social deduction and lighter games to heavy euros and complex strategy titles. Beginners are very welcome, we'd love to see you! We'll always welcome you on the night and make sure we get you into a game, and we have plenty of players on hand happy to teach the rules to different games - so don't worry if you're not sure what to play or who to sit with. We don't charge for attending the Meetup, but you will need to pay the Ludoquist's game session fee of £8 per person (unless you have a Gold or VIP [membership](https://www.theludoquist.com/collections/membership-2022)). We start arriving from 6.30pm if anyone wants to join early for short games and chat - please do try to arrive by 6.50pm, so we have time to discuss who'd like to play what, in time for the main games to start at 7pm. Tuesday Board Games at The Old Frizzle, Wimbledon

We meet every Tuesday from 6pm at the Old Frizzle Pub in Wimbledon. Please support us by coming along, with or without your own games. There will be a selection of games already available. New members are always welcomed. We usually start with a couple of light games to get everyone involved and then split into smaller groups to play games of your choice.

Board Games at Cabbage Patch, Twickenham

Join us for board games and drinks at the Cabbage Patch in Twickenham. We play a wide range of modern board and card games and typically start the evening with some light party games before getting into other favourites. All are welcome, please come and say hello. This event has a chat group, you’ll get an invitation to join it once you register. To find us: Head to the back of the pub to the restaurant area. There is no charge for the event but it helps maintain our use of the space if people buy food and/or drink from the restaurant.

Our resident storytellers Brett and Gwilym will be running Blood on the clocktower social deduction the first Sunday of every month at the hawkins forge pub. Limited to the first 25 sign ups, games may start without late comers.
