Sun, Jul 19, 1:00 PM**We're building a new community for people who love to play games: a shared love of tabletop RPGs, board games, hobby chat and good company.** We aim to create a warm, welcoming, and respectful group where people can relax, share interests, and enjoy gaming together. Led by neurodivergent people, we're neuro-affirming and LGBTQIA+-affirming. Our games afternoons offer a minimum of two bookable TTRPGs and we have plenty of tables for board gaming plus volunteers on hand to welcome and guide you to a good game from our growing collection. Shrunk to a fraction of your normal size, you'll descend into a silent jungle of poisonous blooms, carnivorous plants and unseen horrors. Every step draws you closer to a terrible truth—and further from the outside world. Some secrets were never meant to be unearthed. *TTRPG games: please note these games have a limited number of seats and might not have room on the day!* **Practical Details:** Our building is not (yet) fully accessible, there are steps down to the toilets which are not suitable for wheelchair users or those who need assistance. There are no shops in the immediate vicinity - tea (including herbals), coffee, water available + crisps and biscuits but please bring food/snacks if you think you will need it! And please note that we are a nut-free venue.

If you would like to get involved, RSVP to the event. You can bring games with you if you like, although not a requirement. 🌱**Something For Everyone:** Whether you're a seasoned board game veteran or just starting out, you're welcome. No previous experience necessary, we go through the rules before playing. We play a range of games, from lighter card and party games to epic strategies. **📌Where:** We meet at the **The Village Club** in Walthamstow, which is a 10 minute walk from Walthamstow Central underground station.. When you arrive please press the buzzer to gain entry. Just say you are joining the board game group. Come say hello and the event hosts will get you settled in. The Village Club is a member's club but you can attend our board game evening without becoming a member. As the space will stay open for the use of our group the expectation is that you will buy a drink or two to cover the cost of the bar staff. If you’re looking to meet new friends, play games in a welcoming community and be in with a chance to win fantastic prizes, come along to Loading (Stoke Newington) on a Tuesday evening for one of London’s best game nights. Our crew will help you find a game, make friends and have lots of fun. Just ask for Tim at the bar and we’ll help you get settled in. You're welcome to bring your own games or take advantage of the fantastic library of games we have at the bar – all for free! Feature Game: Each week we feature a different game. There is usually the opportunity to win a copy of this game just by playing it on the night. Everyone that plays the feature game is entered into a free prize draw near the end of the evening. We’ll be increasing the frequency of this back to a weekly basis as soon as our stocks allow. Regular Features: Note that every Tuesday we will now be featuring casual play for Star Wars Unlimited – with official and non-official prizes available (while stocks last.)
