Hello fellow gamers and 420 lovers! **Press X to Munch** is a 420 celebration open to gamers of all varieties, especially 420 lovers. The premise is simple, come lounge with us, get munchies like never before, and meet some of the most passionate gamers this side of California! Don’t forget to bring a towel! (iykyk) **Games Provided by Host:** Multiple console gaming stations with Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Play Station 4 with games such as Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Overcooked, Gang Beasts, and more! Additionally, there will be party games like Taco-Cat-Goat-Cheese-Pizza, Cards Against Humanity, and more! For those who crave a psychedelic journey - a VR station will be setup with Realms of Flow so you can sit back, relax, and let the world around you fade away. **Alcohol and 420:** Our venue is in a non-smoking community but a dedicated smoking zone will be established. Please do not smoke outside the designated space or indoors, or you may be asked to leave. Edible 420 products, vapes, and electric dab rigs are highly proffered and are okay for use anywhere on the roof! For safety reasons, please **do not bring torches** to the venue. **NO CIGARETTES.** Alcohol such as beer and wine are acceptable but absolutely **NO HARD ALCOHOL**. Please drink, consume, vape, and smoke responsibly. **A Flock of Gamers and the host are not responsible for any participant that uses substances beyond reasonable limits.** Highly intoxicated participants may be asked to leave. **What to Bring:** Guests are encouraged to bring their favorite games to share! Anyone may set up their own gaming console / game at any station not being used. Due to limited power access, if you wish to bring your own display, please reach out to the host for approval first. Hello fellow gamers and culinary enthusiasts! Food is good. Home Cooked food is better. Sharing your favorite home cooked food with good people is how it’s done best! **Gamers Get Cooked** is a gathering of our community's most passionate chefs, bakers, and culinary experimenters! This is a potluck style event where the only admission fee is a home cooked contribution to the fun! Bust out your favorite handmade dish and we will do the same, then together we will feast and discuss our mutual appreciation for the craft. Yum! Don't Cook or bake? That's OK! We challenge you to bring food from your favorite **local** restaurant or bakery! Bonus points if no one has heard of it! Your host will be making BBQ chicken and Tofu! Guests are welcome to use any available grill to prepare their dish! **Whatever you cook or bring, make sure it's enough to share for 5-10 people. Also you MUST know the ingredients and have the name of your dish with the ingredients printed so that those with food allergies can be aware of what they are consuming. We will be gathering Friday night at Geeky Games as usual 8pm, with the regular group and some new folks from Meetup. RSVP if you want to attend so we can reserve you a seat. If you are on the waitlist there isn't a seat until you to get moved to 'going. " So check Friday day before you come to the game house! We'll be playing some fun board games - A variety of familiar trivia and party games. And some challenging new ones. It's $8 to get in. We start between 8 and 8:15 depending on the room. So if you are late you may have to wait for the next game to start. Just tell Xander, Tyler, Fitz or any of the other amazing folks at the desk you are there for Vince Duvall's group. At the newly expanding location! They have a great selection of SNACKS including some great Brit favorites - as long as tariffs allow. **Players and game designers wanted for this open house style event!** Please read the event schedule, and all members, new and old, should check out the Code of Conduct at the bottom of this text. **FEE:** $8 to play at Geeky Teas - payable at the event to Geeky Teas at front desk. Bring the game that may break in 5 minutes, the one that requires 10 people, or the one that may involve crawling on the ground. Bring objects that *could* be games, half baked ideas, and untested print and plays. Downey Library Game Day

Come play board games and card games with us at the Downey Library. We welcome starting players all the way to expert players. Please bring a copy of the games you would like to play, or we have copies to play. The Downey Public Library also has a collection of games to play. Some examples of popular board games are Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, and Terraforming Mars. Some examples of popular card games are Flip 7, Century Spice Road, and Splendor. We like to learn new games and to teach new games. There is no fee, and food and drink is welcome, just please clean up after yourself. We are in the area, to the left of the main entrance. Indie RPG Game Night (Geeky Teas)

WHAT IS THIS EVENT? At **Indie RPG Night** we gather to play story games and independent role-playing games (RPGs). These games are similar to role-playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) but tend to be simpler to learn, and have more shared narrative control for all players. WHO IS THIS FOR? Any experience level is welcome, with no prior knowledge required. Almost all games are meant to be played in a single night (sometimes called *one-shots* or *episodic*), so no regular attendance is necessary. WHAT GAMES DO WE PLAY? We play games that allow us to come together to have a good time telling a story collaboratively. We do not generally play games with a win condition. Some games we play have a game master (GM) and players, similar to D&D. Other games are “GM-less” or "GM-ful", and have no game master, where the rules of the game have us share narrative authority so we all have similar control over the story. Some examples include: * Apocalypse World * Blades in the Dark * Dream Askew * Fiasco * For The Queen * The Quiet Year * Microscope WHAT GAMES DO WE AVOID? We avoid role-playing games that may require players to have prior knowledge of rules (which is often the case with RPGs such as D&D). Many of us love board and card games, however this is not the event for those games. Note that some story games have elements that may look like board and card games, however we play games that share our goal of coming together to collaboratively tell a story. Although some board games have narrative elements (such as Above and Below), or can be played in a narrative manner (such as Arkham Horror), these do not meet our criteria. If you have any doubts, please talk to one of the organizers. It is also important that games played conform to our Community Standards (https://bit.ly/StoryGamesLA-CommunityStandards). WHERE AND WHEN IS THE EVENT? Locations vary so check the meetup event for the current location. On this night we play at **Geeky Teas & Games** in Burbank. We plan to meet up starting at 6pm, and pitch games promptly at 6:30pm. The venue closes at 10pm. Games tend to normally last 2-4 hours. Note that Geeky Teas requires a $8 cover fee that you pay directly to them upon entry to the venue. HOW DO I ATTEND? If you plan on attending, please RSVP here.
