We ask all participants to please support the venue instead when attending. Thank you for helping us maintain a positive relationship with the venue and keep the group running.

Hi Everyone! We meet every Thursday at Club Ashfield: 1-11 Charlotte St, Ashfield. Our origin started off many years ago at the halls of a church in Enfield. We used our hobby of board games to get to know our community by inviting visitors to a friendly setting to have fellowship and garnered new friendships all while playing games. We are still championing to welcome all those that are interested in gaming whether you’re new to board gaming or an eventual board gaming elitist, all are welcome! **Venue:** 1-11 Charlotte St, Ashfield. If coming via train the Club is located right out of Ashfield Train Station, Station St exit. There are free road side unlimited parking after 6pm. We will be in the Sunshine Room area, after walking in and signing in at reception go up a level to the Bistro area, you should see a space on the right side of the room with windows - that’s where we’re at! **Note:** Standard club requirements, if you're not a member then they require signing in with an ID, e.g driver's license, passport etc. Feel free to reference my (Ben's) member number '3092' to help you sign in as guest. **Format:** Feel free to bring any games if convenient that you’d like to try or yearning to play. There will always be many and wide range of games (easy, accessible, complex, big, small, long, short, differing genre) to choose from on the night and again all experience levels are welcome to join in and sit in on one of our many tables. **Link to our Aftergame group, where some of us pre-plan and organise weekly games:** https://app.aftergame.co/groups/6ddb7eeb-9728-42e2-ab8f-8b517e5ac147?invite=true Usual play start time is 7pm but be encouraged to arrive earlier (6pm on-wards) like many of us do to have a meal, play some smaller games and general chit-chat filling the time until our official start. We usually finish close to 12am. Come along, grab a drink, order some food, and play some games! **Host' Note:** As the function space we're occupying is given to us in-kind (hiring costs waived) by the Club's generosity and goodwill so that I could continue to keep this event free of charge. I would like to in-kind encourage everyone that attends to consider purchasing a meal/drink to compensate for the Club's kindness in allowing us to use this function space freely on a weekly basis! Please also consider cleaning up after yourselves to lessen the labour of the staffs on the night as well as for your fellow gamers that may be looking to share games on your table! **Lastly:** At the event, if any attendees have any issues with the club's foods, drinks and services, please approach me (Ben) directly with the problem before all else. **Conditions of the Club:** 1\. Club will have their regular bookings in the adjacent room\, therefore noise may be a factor for both parties\. Please be respectful and mindful\. 2\. PLEASE RESPECT THE STRICT CLUB RULES THAT NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE CLUB\. 3\. We would strongly encourage ALL regular members of the group to become members of the Club\.

Gaming Meetups Ticket to Ryde (T2R) holds an open, social tabletop gaming meetup on Wednesdays, from 6:30pm until late. This includes all sorts of board games, card games, dice games, etc. (see the Games We Play section below for more details). We typically meet at the West Ryde Hotel (corner Victoria Road, Chatham Road & Dickson Lane). You'll find us hanging out in the Function Room, affectionately referred to as the Fish Bowl. If you enter from Dickson Lane, walk up the steps to the beer garden area and we'll be immediately on your right. On occasion, we may be forced to meet at another venue, so double check the forums on our Board Game Geek (BGG) webpage for the latest. Everyone is welcome. Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. The hotel's function room and amenities are ambulant disability accessible, however, please be aware our alternate venues may not be. While there is no cost to attend, we're encouraged to support the hotel by purchasing food from the bistro and drinks from the bar. Many like to arrive early to order and eat dinner in the function room, before the gaming begins. Public transport, walking or cycling are ideal ways to travel to and from the venue. If driving, parking is available in the surrounding streets - be sure to check for any sign-posted parking restrictions. More information about the venue can be found on the West Ryde Hotel website.
