The LPGA Amateur Golf Association exists to connect women to learn, play and enjoy golf for business and for fun. Since its inception in 1991, the LPGA Amateur Golf Association (formerly known as Executive Women’s Golf Association – EWGA) has served as a portal to golf and touched the lives of thousands of women of all skill levels. LPGA Amateur Golf Association has Chapters throughout the United States and Internationally.
The LPGA Amateur Golf Association Austin, Texas Chapter was established in 2006 and the membership reflects a cross-section of individuals from different industries in Central Texas and the Hill Country that all share a common link - GOLF. The LPGA Amateurs – Austin, Texas is your best place to get involved, get connected and to have fun playing the game of golf.
Everyone is welcome, including those who want to learn how to golf, those who enjoy playing casual golf and the more experienced (and perhaps competitive) players! We offer weekend fun golf events and weekly recreational leagues geared to all levels of play and demanding schedules. We offer 2 18-hole leagues and 3 9-hole leagues that are non-competitive, fun ways to get together with other women and play golf. These are "pay as you play leagues" so you don't have to commit to an entire season and you do not have to have a handicap to join. We also offer outstanding golf education and social networking opportunities. For our competitive golfers we participate in the Lone Star Cup, an exciting team Match Play event similar to the Solheim Cup amongst several chapters in the Southwest, and you have the opportunity to participate at the national level in the LPGA Amateur Golf Association Championships and Cup Tournaments.
