Blue Mountain Natural Area Hike (Luna Moth & Tarantula Hawk Loop)

We'll meet at the Blue Mountain Nature Area parking lot at 8:00 AM and start the hike shortly after (https://maps.app.goo.gl/yRpDw3P6tPcwvybU6). There are restrooms located at the marina at WestRock Landing if anyone needs a pit stop before the hike starts, which can be found by continuing to go West on HWY 10 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/sKi8t2oLtDvxNb1w5). The hike on this beautiful scenic trail will take anywhere from 2-2.5 hours on a 5.7 mile trail with 367 ft elevation gain. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, bug spray, hiking sticks are highly recommended, snacks, and plenty of water. NOTE: This trail was created for mountain biking and hiking, and mountain bikers have the right of way. Please keep an eye out for mountain bikers for your and everyone else's safety.
