Blackbrook Beauty walk from Mount St Bernard's abbey

Details

**PLEASE NOTE LATER START TIME OF 11:00**
Mount St Bernard's Abbey, Oaks Road LE67 5UL
A 6.5 mile circular walk, so shorter than usual but quite pleasant, starting from Mount St Bernard's Abbey in Charnwood and following the Blackbrook Beauty trail.
From the Abbey the walk heads north past Blackbrook Reservoir and then south towards Whitwick before returning to the Abbey.
There are two sections of road walking, the first one approximately a mile, the second is shorter.
Some sections of the footpath are a little overgrown but not excessively so.
There is no set parking fee but there is a box for donations. There are toilets at the car park and a tea room about 200m up the road.
I would expect the walk to end around 2.30 - 3pm leaving plenty of time for tea and cake at the tea room should you wish to!
