Anyone interested in a study group?

Hi everyone!

I'm Oumou, and I'm a recent college graduate from the west coast. I'm living and working in Northeast D.C., through AmeriCorps, until July 2014. I plan to stay in D.C. after my service year is over.

I took the LSAT in February, and did not get a score high enough for me to confidently apply to law school. So, I'll be taking the test again in either June or October next year. I am excited I have ample time to do a better job, but really disappointed at the cost of LSAT preparation resources. I can imagine that this is a disappointment/obstacle for a lot of us. Though there are some free classes and forums here and there, I'm realizing that much of my preparation will be self-guided.

I'm posting to see if anyone in or near D.C. is interested in forming a study group that meets weekly or biweekly. I'd imagine we'd share strategies for particularly difficult question types as well as any affordable test prep resources we know of. This would be SO helpful to those of us who aren't taking a course. It'd also be great to have a group of people who know and share the pain of preparing for this test.
