I've been cooped up a bit too much recently, I really fancy a bracing walk! The weather may have turned colder but let's explore Greenwich Park with the option of retreating to the Queen's House (it's free entry) when we feel like it. And drinks in a recommended pub afterwards.

There are a number of things to see in the park - I am really keen to try and find the place of the "real" Greenwich meridian prime line (and to tell you all about it). From a Tudor courting tree, via panoramic views, Conduit remains, statues, art - to what's said to have been a queen's bath. But we don't have to go around every single thing of note - we'll take the weather on the day into account ans adapt our route accordingly.

There are a number of pubs between the park and the station, let's pop in for a drink afterwards and warm back up.

If the weather is not great: there'll be much fewer people around, and that can't be a bad thing.

Bring an umbrella or a hooded garment, sturdy shoes and warm clothes!
