Cathedral Late Open programme
Details
This is a special evening: visit St Paul's cathedral in the evening and take part in the offered activities:
"Enjoy the unique atmosphere of St Paul’s Cathedral at night.
Experience the beauty of St Paul’s Cathedral in the evening light and explore our Cathedral’s heritage. Immerse yourself in little known stories from our rich history with Spotlight Talks from our expert guides, and self-guided trails.
Discover a range of heritage skills with displays from our highly skilled craftspeople including stone masons and embroiderers. Join handling sessions with our Collections team, and enjoy the Cathedral’s art, including works by Henry Moore and Bill Viola.
Sample our spiritual life, with an introduction to Christian mindfulness, insights into our choral music tradition, and much more.
The evening will close with a beautiful sung service of Compline under the Dome."
The main floor and the crypt will be open but the upper galleries will be closed. I'm particularly keen on going down to the crypt.
The attendance fee will be £5 payable in advance to go towards meetup site costs. Because I have only a few sought-after tickets and must make sure of numbers, please only sign up to this event if you are sure you can come. If your plans for this evening change I will only refund if another person takes your place, minus fees (please use the Friends and Family option).
