Lighthouse – Opening Night

22nd March - 4pm at the Reading Biscuit Factory

Join us for the very first Lighthouse gathering — an alcohol-free community evening of live acoustic music, meaningful conversation, and genuine connection.
This is a space designed for people who want something different from the usual night out or are fed up with socialising through a screen. No shouting over DJs. No pressure to drink. Just music, warmth, and the chance to actually meet new people.
The evening will gently unfold with:

• Live acoustic sets
• Optional open mic (share if you’d like)
• Gentle icebreakers to spark conversation
• Cacao and healthy snacks available
• A guided piano journey to close
• A relaxed wind-down before we head home

Music for the night is led by composer and pianist Eddie Chilvers, joined by guest musicians to shape the evening's atmosphere.
Come solo or with a friend — you’ll be welcomed either way.
