POSTPONED: Our venue will be undergoing some last minute remodeling. We will reschedule the event as soon as time allows. Apologies for any inconvenience ~Kristen
What if you could awaken inside your dreams, and use that moment to explore the nature of your own mind?
The practice of lucid dreaming invites a simple but profound shift: to remember that you are dreaming as the dream unfolds. Far from popular belief, lucid dreaming is not about "controlling" the dream. Rather, the state is a practice ground for knowing your mind without material world constraints–one with deep roots in the centuries-old Tibetan yogas of dream and sleep.
In this introductory talk, Kristen LaMarca will offer an overview of foundational lucid dreaming skills and guide you through a practical exercise you can begin using the same night.
No prior experience is required. Feel free to bring a notebook or dream journal. Mats, chairs, and cushions will be provided for the experiential portion.
This talk is a co-meetup event presented in collaboration with the San Diego Shambhala Community. The talk begins at 11:30 AM. Attendees are also welcome to join meditation from 10:00–11:00 AM, followed by tea from 11:00–11:30 AM.
