West Coast Swing 🎶🎺🎶

Calling on all beginners this is your chance to learn this popular style of swing from the start.

West Coast Swing is different from other swing dances in that, it moves in a linear fashion referred to as "the slot". It restricts your movement to a straight line for the most part but does include a mix of turns and wraps. Musically, it has its roots in jazz and slower blues music using a more conservative energy when danced. There is no bounce in it like the East Coast style.

During this class, we will learn the side passes, and progress to sugar push, and whips.
