About us
Luckan Integration is based in the heart of Helsinki and is a part of Luckan, the Finland-Swedish culture and information centre. Our activities/doors are open to everyone regardless of language or background.
To help you feel at home in Helsinki, we offer a space where, through fun activities, you can meet new people, have a cultural and language exchange, create community, build social networks, and find meaningful connections.
Luckan Integration supports internationals building their life in Finland. Our services are free of charge and take place in the Capital region. As well as social events, we have mentoring and networking programs, and we also provide individual guidance sessions where we offer advice and information on job searching, educational possibilities, language learning options, or social events and activities. We have special expertise in Swedish integration in Finland.

Women’s café in English
Luckan Helsingfors, Yrjönkatu 27, Helsinki, FIWelcome to the English-speaking Women’s café! Make new friends and get involved in what is happening locally. Every meeting is organised around one topic - for example, job search, language courses and Finnish everyday life.

Studerar du för den Allmänna språkexamen i svenska? Undrar du hur provet ser ut? Vill du veta var du bör fokusera på i dina studier? - Då är denna infotillfälle perfekt för dig.
Heidi Huovilainen, Arbis planeringsansvariga lärare i språk, presenterar strukturen för Allmän språkexamen i svenska på mellannivån och delarna provet består av. Heidi kommer att berätta också hur studerande effektivast kan förbereda sig för språkexamen. I slutet av presentationen diskuteras även de allmänna principerna för bedömningen av språkexamen.

Are you studying for the National Certificate of Language Proficiency in Swedish? Do you wonder what the test looks like? Would you like to know where to concentrate in your studies? - Then this info session is for you!
Heidi Huovilainen, teacher and in charge of planning for language courses and the National Certificates of Language Proficiency (YKI test) in Swedish at Arbis, will present the structure of the test at the intermediate level and its components. Heidi will also discuss how students can best prepare for the language exam. At the end of the presentation, the general principles for assessing the language exam will be explained.
