Open Living Room goes World Cleanup Day

Join us for World Cleanup Day - an annual global social action day held on September 20 that unites people to clean up litter from streets, rivers, forests, and beaches.

Our event is a collaboration between Luckan Integration, Sustainability Community Finland, and Helsinki Climate Hub. We’ll head outdoors to clean up litter and make a positive impact on our local environment.
We provide trash bags and gloves, but we recommend bringing your own gloves to avoid using disposable ones.

Please remember to dress for the activity and weather accordingly! We recommend bringing your own water bottle.
After the cleanup, we’ll relax and connect over a casual picnic with coffee and buns. Feel free to bring a snack if needed.

The cleanup will take place at Matinkylä beach in Espoo, more details will be provided in the week of the event!
The activity is open to everyone - families, children & pets are welcome! Whether you’re passionate about sustainability or just looking for a meaningful way to spend time outdoors, this is a great opportunity to contribute, learn, and meet like-minded people.
