What we’re about
NOTE We are in "hibernation mode" right now and have only had small unofficial game jams for the time being...
Ludum Dare is all about building games! It is a game jam ("hackathon"), and we thought it it would be fun to host a meetup for it!
There will be inspiration, and games, and all the things needed to make such things, like power, Internet, and tables and chairs! Bring your own laptop and other tools. Come on down and show us what you can make in a weekend!
The meetup will be informal and it is all about sitting together with other people who love building games.
Not only for programmers, also for people who do graphics, sound and music, writers/level designers, game testers and so on. Depending on the number of people and skills you can do a Team Set Up. We can't guarantee anything though... Or just hang-around and check-out the cool stuff people are building.
You definitely don't have to be a professional or "elite hax0r" to join! We are not! It's about the fun of building a game, no matter what excepectations or requiremnts you might have.
