Elettra Fiumi - How I Built My AI Studio: Personalizing AI to Transform Workflows

How do you make AI tools truly your own? In this talk, filmmaker and AI creator Elettra Fiumi will share how she personalizes AI to optimize workflows. From building custom ChatGPTs for teaching (university classes vs teen workshops) and storytelling (experimental scripts like The Nonna Influencer and Cyborg Fairy Tale) to using NotebookLM for research, MidJourney for visual moodboards, and ElevenLabs for voice cloning, Elettra demonstrates how tailoring tools unlocks new ways of working. With live demos and real-world case studies—including experiments with the 9999 Radical Architecture archive—she’ll show how anyone can create AI workflows that are more personal, productive, and powerful.

Elettra Fiumi is a Florentine-American filmmaker and AI creator based in Lugano, and the founder of Fiumi Studios. Her work spans documentaries, branded content, and AI-driven films, blending narrative depth with technical innovation. She has directed and produced for Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC, and The New Yorker, and her clients include Siemens, Lugano's Civico Hospital, Estée Lauder, Longines, and Walmart.
A Creative Partner for leading AI platforms—including Runway, Sora Alpha, Pika, CapCut, Leonardo.AI, and ElevenLabs Impact—Elettra is also a founding member of the Wonder Studios Collective. She frequently speaks and teaches on AI and cinema, leading workshops for institutions such as FOCAL, SUPSI, LAC, and Franklin University Switzerland.
She holds a Master’s in AI for Business from the Italian Tech Academy and a Master’s in Digital Journalism from Columbia University. Beyond her studio work, she co-founded the Lugano chapter of the Breakfast Club and founded the Milan chapter of the Video Consortium, building communities around storytelling and innovation.

Lorenzo Grande - Decarbonizing the off-grid industry - Nebith's containerized power plant

The solar PV industry is the fastest-growing energy technology in the world. In 2024 alone, over 600 GW of new solar capacity was installed globally, bringing the total to 2.2 TW — equivalent to the combined power capacity of the entire EU plus the United States. More can be done in the off-grid space, which still heavily relies on dirty diesel generators. At Nebith, we are working on an innovative solution to reduce fossil fuel dependency thanks to on-site generation of clean power for all uses - from the construction industry, to maritime and emergency services response.

Dr Lorenzo Grande has over 15 years of experience in energy-related R&D, which he has carried out both in academic and corporate settings in three European countries. He worked at the forefront of innovation on novel battery prototypes, advanced materials, as well as large-scale renewable energy systems. His previous appointments include the University of Cambridge, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, and Stellantis. Dr Grande has been an invited speaker at international summits in the US, Europe, Japan, Korea, and India. He is the founder of energy consultancy Teraton (www.teraton.tech) and co-founder of startup Nebith (www.nebith.com).
