Lusophonics coworking session

This event is designed to gather independent artists from the local community to connect, share ideas, and collaborate in the songwriting and production process. The goal of these sessions is for each artist to come prepared with a song idea and leave with a finished demo. To achieve that, we will follow a semi-structured schedule over the 4 hours.

1. Music Matchmaking: 1-on-1, 5 minute rounds, where each atendee presents an original concept for a piece of music to receive feedback from their peers and identify collaborators throughout the coworking session. Lasts 1 hour.

2. Open space: Group up or go solo! Take the feedback you received in the speed round and work on your music. Lasts 2 hours.

3. Showcase: Show what you’ve got! You can simply talk about what you worked on or perform it, but the goal of this is to have a before-and-after to share with the group. Lasts 1 hour.

In terms of equipment, Lusophonics will provide some microphones, amps, headphones, computers + audio interfaces, and cables. However, feel free to bring whatever you need to feel comfortable and creative!
