Part II: The Civil War as a Theological Crisis

Our next Luther & Lager has moved to Friday, March 21 from 4 to 5:30 at Olde Salem in Salem.

The plan is to finish our discussion of Mark Noll's The Civil War as a Theological Crisis. If you're short for reading time this month, I suggest focusing on chapters 4 (on race), 5 (on interpreting providence in history) and 8 (a concise conclusion).

I've found the book fascinating and our first conversation rich, so I'm very much looking forward to this second (and last) night on Noll. What comes next? I've got a few ideas, but feel free to send me yours as well.
