What we’re about
With plenty of Meetup groups in Luxembourg focusing on a particular activity, this group will be a generational one, offering from time to time various activities (cinema, theater, cycling, hiking, concerts, opera...). You are welcome to join if you were born (roughly) between 1965 and 1980 and would like to mingle sometimes with people of your generation. Most of the cultural events will be in English, but some may be in German.

Important: Before joining the group, please read the rules written below. By joining this group, you agree to respect them - otherwise the organiser has the right to cancel your participation:
- This group is a community where real people enter into real interaction. This means you profile has to have a picture with a clearly visible face without sunglasses and a normal, clearly understandable (first) name (e.g. not "Popcorn" )
- If you register to an event, but change your mind, you need to cancel
participation at least 24 hours before the event starts.
- Some events in this group will be limited. If you end up on a waiting list, you
cannot join them.
- The organiser may need to communicate with the participants before and during the event. For this you must enable private messaging.

Nick Elleray (Australia) - Known for his dry humour and wry persona, Australian comedian Nick Elleray has been bringing the mellow thunder to the UK and European stand-up comedy circuit since 2012. In addition to performing solo shows at the Edinburgh Festival, Nick was a finalist in the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year, and the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Award and was a contender for three years running in the BBC New Comedy Award.

Hike (10 km) around Hesperange + Christmas market on Sunday
Gare Centrale, 11 Place de la Gare, Luxembourg, LUHi,
for next Sunday I would like to organise a FLMP marked hike (10 km) around Hesperange.
Meeting point: 13.20 Gare, Platform 104
Departure: 13.30, bus no. 424 to Waldbredimus
Start of the hike in Hesperange: ca. 13:45
Registration fee: 1,5 euro for FLMP; sometimes they take cash only
After the hike, we can stop by at the nice chalets of the Hesper Christmas market for food/drinks (Gromperkichelcher, Raclette, fries, waffles, fondue, stollen, mulled wine, hot chocolate).
The hike is easy, we go a lot through the Hesperange commune, but there are nice views/nature.
We will get free water/tea at the control points.3 attendees
