Michelau to Goebelsmühle (8km, no loop)

Marcello has proposed a fantastic hike of 20km in the beautiful North of our country.

I'm literally "jumping on that train", advertising a short version of his hike, for the "normal" or elderly people like me :)
Then we avoid a competing hike on the same day, and we're super flexible.

The start is from Michelau, and we will end in Goebelsmühle.
It's not a loop; public transport is not only recommended, but needed.

Length: 8km
Elevation gain: 350m approx.

Since we don't want to slow down Marcello, especially not doing a long picnic already way before the first half of his 20km trail, we will just do some short water breaks and you can munch on something then, and maybe have our lunch sandwich in Goebelsmühle, while waiting for the train.

Train to Michelau:
You’ll need to take the train IC5331 to Gouvy, departing from Gare Central at 9:15 and arriving at Michelau at 9:50.
You can also catch the same train at 9:20 in Pfaffenthal or 9:30 in Mersch.

We would start the hike as soon as we are all there.

Train back from Goebelsmühle:
Every hour, 12:35, 13:35, 14:35 etc.
If you come by car to Michelau, a bus back from Goebelsmühle to Michelau departs every 2 hours, 12:51, 14:51 etc.
