Bourglinster Müllerthal Extratour D (12km)

Hello Friends!

Since there are almost no trains at the moment, I need to find a location where people don't have to spend more time on the bus than on the hike.

There are a few extensions to the three main Müllerthal loops, which are called "Extratours" and vary in length from 13 to 30 km.

We're going to do a part of the "Extratour D", starting from Bourglinster, and making it a smaller loop than the original 30km for reasons ;)

Since the weather forecast predicts some rain, I found a place in the forest at around 7km where we can have our lunch break under cover.

If we still feel energetic at about 1 km before the end, we can decide to do a little detour of approximately 2km.

Meeting Point:
We will be at the bus stop "Am Duerf" in Bourglinster, there is also a parking lot nearby.

Public Transport:
You can take Bus 221, departing at 9:21 from "Badanstalt", arriving at 9:39 in Bourglinster.

Carpool:
I have set up a carpool, which could be a good exercise for future trips where we can't use public transport at all.

I recommend meeting at a central place where everyone can get easily, like the all-time classic "Glacis, near Hitch".
Especially if you come from a different direction and don't cross the city of Luxembourg, please clearly state the exact meeting point and departure time.

The hike is at your own risk, and please make sure to wear proper shoes and bring some water for yourself!

And wear something waterproof or bring an umbrella, the weather is crazy recently.
