Fête aux Pommes - Hike and Apples (almost 10km, and almost a loop!)

Disclaimer: It is only "more or less" a loop!

This weekend is the first opportunity to pick apples and taste all kinds of apple products, and hopefully also some bratwurst in Steinsel, at the apple plantation, during the "Fête aux Pommes 2025".
If you miss it this time, the next two weekends are open as well.

No lunch break this time, because we plan the caloric intake in the end, but we will do some water breaks, and everyone can munch on some snacks of course, at any time.

Meeting Point:
We will meet at the bus stop "Buergass", there is also parking near (don't have your hopes too high for an easy parking slot, though, you might need to circle around a bit)

We will walk through the beautiful forests between Steinsel, Kopstal, and Bridel and arrive at the apple plantation around 13:30, after around 8.5 km.
From there, it's 1.5km down the hill back to Steinsel.

The festival will close at 18:00, and of course, everyone can decide how long to stay; the way back down is easy to find.

Public Transport:
You can take Bus 10 from anywhere between Strassen, Gare Centrale, Badanstalt, or Dommeldange (Eecher Klinick).
The bus will depart from "Gare Centrale Routiere" (in front of the train station) at 10:13, pass by Dommeldange around 10:26, and arrive in Steinsel at "Steinsel, Bourgass" at 10:39.

You can also take Bus 11 from "Hamilius" or a combination of Bus 4 and Bus 112 and be in Steinsel a few minutes earlier, but at a different bus stop :)

Car Pool:
If you plan to come by car, if you want to buy lots of apples, maybe you can bring some people along.
