Hello Friends!

This hike on Sunday will be a challenge for multiple reasons.

I picked a "Guttland Trail" that I found a while ago and put it on my "to-do list".
It might, in fact, be quite new, or I overlooked it all these years.
The original trail is only 6km, so I added some kilometers of unmarked trails to get to 12km.
Since it's unmarked, and even though 2 different apps confirmed the paths, we might not find parts of them and need to improvise on the spot.
That's why I called it "experimental", you never know what you get!

But you always get home, at least most of you, trust me :)

For the lunch break, I want to start looking for a spot after around 7km.
I haven't found any tables or benches along the path until now, and I will keep looking. Tomorrow we will know!

The second challenge is that another group is doing a hike not far from ours, and you will be on the same bus at the same time!
Don't get off too early!

Meeting Point:
We will meet near the bus stop "ROLLINGEN, Veräinsbau", in Rollingen, a small town between Lingten and Mersch.

We will start right after the bus arrives.

Public Transport:
You can take Bus 111 from "Badanstalt", leaving at 10:43 towards Mersch.
This bus initially starts from "Kirchberg, Rout Bréck", at 10:39, where you can get using the tram.

Don't forget: There will be hikers from the other group in the same bus.
Don't get off in Lintgen unless you change your mind about which hike you want to do, and don't abduct anyone!
If they fail to get off at their destination, you may offer them asylum though :)

And don't forget to get off in Rollingen yourself, it will be a brisk 1.4km walk back from the Mersch train station!

Carpool:
If you can offer a seat or look for one, here's the link to the carpool:

Parking might be a challenge, please calculate 5 minutes extra!

Looking forward to hiking with you!

Jens
