🍷🎄 Christmas Market Mersch (11km) 🍷🎄

Hello Friends!

My favorite Christmas market in Luxembourg, outside the city, is the one in Mersch!

Firefighters' chili con carne, scouts' Glühwein, all the local clubs and businesses make this market a great culinary experience!

Like last year, we will meet in Mersch and then take a bus to a village nearby.
From there we will walk back to Mersch, through a beautiful forest and through the "Parc municipal de Mersch", until we reach the Christmas Market.

We will take a few short breaks to have a sip of water or munch on a snack, but there will be no lunch break because we plan to enjoy the food and drinks at the Christmas market after reaching the Final Bratwurst Destination.

Meeting Point:
We will meet at the Mersch train station and, with the whole group, take bus 233 towards "Stegen", at 10:27 from Mersch.

We will jump off in "Angelsberg", and start into the forest towards Rollingen.

I recommend taking the train to Mersch, for "Glühwein reasons", it is really good and 1 EUR cheaper than in the city :)

Public Transport:

• Train RB 3609 from Gare centrale, 9:55
• Same train from Dommeldange, 10:03
• Any other convenient bus or train towards Mersch, depending on the place of your residence

The train arrives at 10:18, and we have 9 minutes until the departure of the bus, which is more than enough for 200 meters.

The main challenge will be to get 50 people into a bus with 27 seats, but for a 5-minute ride, we can be sardines!
