Our first activity night: pool at Oscar's, the biggest pool hall in Luxembourg City - 7 full-size tables, a bar, and a kitchen that serves burgers until late.
No experience needed. Haven't held a cue since a cousin's wedding twelve years ago? Perfect, you'll fit right in. We rotate players every game, so everyone ends up playing with everyone.
THE PRACTICAL STUFF
Where: Oscar's Sports Hall, 42 rue de Strasbourg (Gare district), pool hall inside
When: Thursday Oct 22, from 19:30, message me if you can't find us
Cost: your own drinks + a share of table time, which is billed by the hour per table and split between players (budget a few euros each)
Equipment: everything provided, just show up
Food: kitchen open until 22:00 if you want dinner with your game
Oscar's has a membership card (€130/year) that halves the pool rate - ask at the bar if you end up hooked
Come alone, bring a colleague, whatever. All levels, all nationalities. The bar stays open until 1am for whoever wants to keep talking after the last frame.
