What we’re about

Lux TechPulse is a community of developers in Luxembourg who are interested in different technologies: Frontend, Backend, different Web and Mobile technologies, AI, and blockchain, professionally or simply for fun. We organise monthly meetups that take place at changing locations.

For a meetup, usually, there are one or two presentations of about 30-45 min. We also accept lightning talks (5-15 min), and then we conclude each event with a networking session.

If you are interested in such technologies, join us! =)

    TechPulse in October

PORTUS Data Centers, 12D, Impasse Drosbach L-1882, Luxembourg, LU

Together with GDG Luxembourg, we’re hosting a new meetup.

Join us for our next meetup — we’ve got a couple of great talks lined up and can’t wait to see you all again!

    LOCATION:
The October meetup will be hosted at Portus data centers Luxembourg (formerly European Data Hub). Visitors need to bring their ID with them and present it for security clearance.

    TALKS:

How can I choose (and write) good software libraries? by Daniel Gray, Software Engineer at Jemmic, Luxembourg.
As software developers, to save time, we often reach for libraries that already implement some functionality we wish to use. We often pick a library which causes us a lot of problems later. In this talk, we will go over common library anti-patterns and things to look out for, to help make our software more robust and future-proof

    Second talk TBA
