Hike in Melchsee-Frutt

Melchsee-Frutt opens the summer season on Saturday. It is a nice place in the central Switzerland with several and well-known hiking trails.

The idea for this Saturday would be doing the circular hike around Bonistock. The hike is supposed to take around 3 hours, but depending on what we find, we could extend it by walking up to Erzegg on the way back.

In order to arrive to Melchsee-Frutt, we take the 9:12 train to Giswill departing from platform 13. We leave the train in Sarnen and take bus 343 to Stöckalp. I suggest we meet at 9:00 at the head of the platform in Luzern.

The hike would start around 10:30 and takes around 3 hours plus breaks, so quite likely we will finish around 14:00 the latest (if we do not extend it).
