Moderate sunday hike - Augstmatthorn- Interlaken

Join us for the world's most famous ridge hike high above Interlaken – featuring sweeping views of Lake Brienz, the Jungfrau region.

Plan:

Connection from Luzern Bahnhof
07:30 platform 6 --> connection to Interlaken West(09:53)

From Interlaken West we take the bus at 10:04 to Habkern – Lombachalp, the starting point of our hike.

From there, we’ll hike up to the Augstmatthorn (2,136 m), a fantastic panoramic spot with wide-open views over the Berner Oberland. We’ll take a break/lunch up top before continuing, following the undulating path in the direction of Harder Kulm.

Once we reach Harder Kulm, we’ll enjoy the final lookout point over both lakes, have some drinks, then take the funicular down to Interlaken. From there, train connections back home.

Note: Route based on Swisstopo – minor deviations possible
