Apparently weather on Sunday will be sunny!! For any who did not travel this weekend, that is an opportunity to go hiking and exploring the country :)

As it is still possible to find snow in relatively low altitudes, I propose this hike for Sunday:
https://www.nidwalden.com/de/tour/beckenried-risletenschlucht-treib

The hike can be extended and arrive to Rütli (it would mean a couple of hours more and have the chance of visiting the place where the Federation was born https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R%C3%BCtli)

We meet in the station of Luzern at 8:50 and take the Stanks (link to train connection here); we will leave at Stans and take the bus B310 to Beckenried, Post departing at 9:22 from platform E. The hike will start around 9:50.

When we arrive to Treib, there is the possibility of taking the ship departing from Treib direct to Luzern at 14:57 (we'd be in Luzern at 16:53).
Also, as mentioned, there is also the option of extending the hike; depending on the pace and condition, we would hike to Rütli another 1.5 - 2 hours and 3,6km more and take in Rütli the last boat to Luzern at 16:36 (arriving at 18:47 to the city).

I will check the weather forecast again tonight and update the state of the event accordingly.

For any question, do not hesitate contacting me.
