Hike to Arnisee Uri

Join this scenic hike to the beautiful Arnisee, a crystal-clear mountain lake nestled in Kanton Uri. Surrounded by forests and peaks, this peaceful spot offers fantastic views and a perfect place to rest, snack, and soak in the alpine vibes.

We’ll start in Erstfeld and follow a trail with steady elevation gain through varied landscapes – forests, open slopes, and panoramic viewpoints – until we reach the Arnisee. Depending on the conditions and group mood, we may explore a bit around the lake or enjoy an extended lunch break by the water or at the restaurant "Alpenblick".
Afterward, we’ll take the cable car down to Intschi (CHF 11 cash). From there, we’ll catch the bus to Erstfeld and train back home.

Train Connection from Luzern Bahnhof:
Departure at 9:39 from platform 2, the connection to Erstfeld via Arth-Goldau.
