ORLP Tier 3: Wilderness First Aid Certification

We have been given the opportunity to offer another Tier 3 Wilderness First Aid workshop. Please note: the weekend is set, but the times and location are TBD (I made my best guess). Friday is for CPR certification which is required.

NOTE: Our providers have asked us to use three days for this workshop AND do CPR either as long days or CPR done separately. I have emailed anyone who appears to qualify with details about the options on 8/17.

We are providing Wilderness First Aid training and certification (dependent on passing the process) for free to a small group of our Tier 2 experienced participants who are trip leaders. You can apply for this if you are applying for either of the Tier 2 workshops scheduled for August.

All expenses for this training are covered by the Southern Nevada Agency Partners ORLP grant. BUT you have to apply here to be moved off the waitlist: https://forms.gle/EKJXRfZchkExrBLV7

Everyone will be on the waitlist initially and we will move folks off of the waitlist as we evaluate your application. Once the event is full, we will create a real waitlist. You'll know if you're on that actual waitlist (and not just the Meetup one) because I (Erin) will send you a message.

This is likely going to be the last time we can offer this so don't wait to register. Please note, if you heard about our first WFA training, this one will be shorter. We expect the location to be in Boulder City and will not involve overnighting there.
