Richard Herpai, the Lead Information Security Engineer for Einstein Health Network, has been working in information security for the past 10+ years. He'll cover the basics of the ransomware attack, give a solid understanding of the nature of the attack, and show some of the tools that can be used to mitigate those kinds of attacks.

Richard will also give an overview of what the Meltdown / Specter vulnerability actually is, and which devices are actually vulnerable. He'll cover what types of attacks would take advantage of these vulnerabilities, and what organizations can do to try and combat this risk.
