Disc Golf at Peaks View Park

Details
Have you ever tossed a frisbee? Can you walk around in a park? Congratulations, you are ready to play disc golf this summer!
Disc golf is a fun and zero-stress game. The Peaks View park has a really solid 18 hole disc golf course, perfect for a casual and friendly game for a group of friends.
Where to meet: Meet up with me at the parking lot by the tennis courts around 9 AM. I will chat and chill there until 9:05 AM or so, then I'll lead the group over to the first disc golf hole to start.
How Many Can Play? Any number of participants can play.
What will the vibe be? Positive, friendly, and chill. Really hard to think of a game more relaxed and judgment-free than disc golf. Which is good, because I'm not usually very great at disc golf, so the pressure is off you too. Don't let not being good at tossing a frisbee around stop you from participating!
What to wear: Casual, walk-around summertime clothes, shoes comfortable for a trail. Disc golf is a lot of standing around, and occasional walking, for around an hour to ninety minutes.
What to bring: Bring a smile! A bottle of water is probably a good idea. Bring a disc golf disc or frisbee if you have one. I have around a half dozen extra disc golf discs I will be bringing with me, and I am happy to let you borrow a disc for the day. Don't let not having a frisbee or disc golf disc stop you from participating.
What's the park like? Really chill. The first six holes or so are on open, grassy hills, and then the remainder of the disc golf course is on nicely wooded, shaded hills.
What about the Rules of Disc Golf? Super easy: throw the disc, try to get the disc in the bucket. Have fun. Keeping score is optional. Rinse, repeat, for each of the 18 "holes" (buckets) of the course. Congratulations, you are now an expert at the rules of disc golf.
What about Weather? If the weather is rainy or unpleasant, I'll message the group ahead of time, and we will reschedule to play disc golf on the makeup date of Satuday, August 2nd, 2025 at 9 AM instead.
