About us
We are the Lynden, WA chapter of Toastmasters International. We are a diverse group of members of all ages, career backgrounds, and personal backgrounds who share the common goal of becoming better communicators.
As a Toastmaster, you will practice impromptu speaking, give prepared speeches, evaluate speeches and meetings, and lead meetings. There are opportunities for growing your leadership skills through club leadership and individual mentorship roles as well.
We are a member of Toastmasters International (https://www.toastmasters.org/) and follow the Toastmasters education program. That being said, we generally strive to be a laid-back, supportive, and encouraging community. If you want a safe place to develop good communication skills and meet new people, what better place than Toastmasters!
