Join the Lynn Valley Invasive Plant Removal group for 2 hours of volunteering to protect our community from invasive plants. In partnership with the District of North Vancouver, learn about the impact of invasive species on our local ecosystems and get hands-on experience in proper removal techniques.
We will be mainly working on a large cluster of Cherry Laurel shrubs, and a patch of Periwinkle by the side of the trail.
Tools will be provided but please bring your own gardening gloves if you have them, dress appropriately for the weather and bring a reusable water bottle.
PARKING: Please note that this is a residents only parking area. You can find 2 hour parking down on Coleman St, or unrestricted parking on Hoskins Rd, just below Coleman St.
