Office 365: Converting a Paper Process to an Automated Workflow

Session Details:
Many business processes that are still being completed on paper today can be converted to digital solutions. While some processes can be accomplished with only a single application, sometimes even the simplest concept will require the use of multiple Office 365 applications. In this session, we will use a Meeting Attendance Verification example to demonstrate how we were able to build an email distribution process, attendance collection and automated reporting for each month's safety meeting; blending the use of SharePoint, Teams, Forms, Flow, Outlook and PowerBI.

Speaker Bio:
Jennifer McGee is a Water Resources engineer who focuses on data wrangling, analysis and visualizations to support engineering projects and business solutions. Her major project work is related to Flood Risk Analysis and Forecasting. She also works to develop automated solutions to improve data integrity and overall project efficiency using python, VBA and no-coding solutions.
