Wilderness First Aid Oct. 14-15

Good Morning Mountaineers!

Heading off to Mount Whitney this morning, I'm thinking not only about the climb and what gear, skills and supplies we need, but also anticipating what medical issues we could encounter. AMS is always a possibility, as are falls, hypothermia, cuts, burns and a myriad of other conditions.

Have you ever given any thought to how you would react in a tense, challenging, medical situation while positioned in a remote location where help is hours or days away? Wilderness First Aid training will give you the skills and a systematic approach to dealing with emergencies effectively, providing for best possible outcomes - a big plus for you and your adventure buddies.

Check out the WFA offering coming up on October 14-15, and if you aren't confirmed for an incredible outing that weekend join us for an intense but fun learning experience and become a capable WooFA.

See you in class!
