A Nexer and IDST event - Still Proud: A celebration of LGBTQ+ community & creativity in Macclesfield

Pride month doesn't necessarily end in June…We want to continue the celebration!

Join us in our Ropewalks basement for an evening of making, conversation and connections. We’ll be getting creative, aiming to capture the vibrant queer spirit of Macclesfield and create something useful, enjoyable, and practical.

We've assembled a team of talented friends, including IDST, Macc-based artists and techies who are leading and facilitating our maker activities.

We'll also be joined by Macc Art Space, Macc Tech, and Macc Pride, gathering for an evening of tech exploration, and inspiring story-sharing.

Refreshments will be provided, along with Sharpies, Post-its' sensors, lights and all manner of creative and tech bits and bobs to get stuck into. Let's stay Proud and get together to celebrate the joy, resilience and creativity of the wonderful community around us. We hope to see you there!

Tickets are free, but opt-in donations tickets are available too, with proceeds going to LGBTQ+ charities.
