Khaled is a researcher at Deakin University, and will be discussing challenges that face autonomous/"self-driving" vehicles when interacting with vulnerable road users (pedestrians, cyclists, etc). He'll dive into the role of machine learning/deep learning techniques for tackling such challenges.
"How much data do you need to train a classifier?" by Noon Silk
Noon is a programmer with a background in maths, functional programming, and fashion design. The presentation will take the form of a 10-minute quiz, with audience questions and comments definitely welcome.

In addition to a technical introduction, this brief presentation will also provide details on upcoming workshops and track days in Melbourne.
