Title: Think Proof of Purpose: Leap into the People+AI Edge
Abstract:
Re-imagine the future of work where human ingenuity and artificial intelligence converge to achieve tangible, transformative results. This keynote outlines a phased plan for attaining the “people+AI edge”, grounded in the principle of “proof of purpose”. Discover how new organizational structures and “Augmented Feedback Literacy” pave the way for dynamic capabilities, continuous innovation, and long-term resilience in the age of co-intelligence.

Speaker: Andrei Villarroel (LinkedIn)
Dr. Villarroel is a former MIT Sloan School of Management international faculty fellow, MIT postdoc, EPFL MoT PhD, CMU INI MSc. Co-author of "When Innovation Moves at Digital Speed", "Leading Open Innovation" (MIT Press). He consults on transformation (e.g. Genentech, Roche) and helps devise future-forward projects (e.g. EPFL Ecotope). Generative AI is set to transform what we mean by "organization." Through innoverse.ai, Dr. Villarroel helps companies identify, train, and achieve new dimensions of productivity and creativity through the adoption of formal people+AI organizational structures. He presented this seminal work at the AMLD AI conference (2024). This transition requires extensive multi-stakeholder collaboration and a willingness to challenge long-held assumptions about the nature of work, value creation, and the role of people in organizations. Dr. Villarroel was keynote speaker and panelist on this topic at The Future of Work and Learning event at PALEXPO Geneva (2024).
