Andrés Marafioti – AI Researcher at Hugging Face
Andrés is a leading AI researcher with a PhD in applied machine learning, specializing in generative methods for speech and music. Previously a senior ML engineer at Unity, he played a pivotal role in bringing ML-based innovations from concept to real-world applications. Now at Hugging Face, he focuses on multimodal and memory-efficient models, spearheading the development of SmolVLM, a state-of-the-art vision-language model.

Luis Serrano – Founder of Serrano.Academy, YouTuber, Author, Mathematician
Luis is a renowned AI educator and the creator of the popular YouTube channel Serrano.Academy, with over 150K followers. He is the author of Grokking Machine Learning and has worked on AI and language models at Cohere, Google, and Apple. With a PhD in mathematics and experience as a quantum AI researcher at Zapata Computing, Luis has also taught widely popular ML courses on Udacity and Coursera, making machine learning accessible to everbody.
